Program for Undergraduate Research & Scholarship (PURS)

Old Dominion University invites all faculty to apply for grants supporting one-year pilot projects in research and creative work. These grants are designed to engage undergraduate students in authentic, hands-on experiences that foster inquiry, innovation, and academic growth.

By mentoring students through these faculty-led initiatives, you’ll not only advance your own research or creative agenda but also help cultivate the next generation of scholars and creators. This is a valuable opportunity to inspire student engagement while exploring new directions in your work.
